1927 followed a letter trip from Buckingham Palace to Downton Abbey. Letters are sorted and loaded towards a letter train in London. The letter arrives at Downton Abbey, received by Andy, and handed over to Thomas Barrow. Robert Crawley, The Earl of Grantham, was given a letter after he got off breakfast with Lady Mary Talbot and Tom Branson. Robert read the letter and announced King George V and King Mary coming to Downton as part of the royal tour to the rest of the country. Foreigners take the train after arriving at Donwton Village and book a room overlooking the Green village. Lady Maud Bagshaw A cousin of Lord Grantham, but the family fell because she did not mention Robert her legal heir.
